Helping the Cheesecake Factory Reduce Waste through Organics Recycling
The Cheesecake Factory, headquartered in Calabasas Hills, California is a global company and a long-standing leader in upscale casual dining.
Their organics diversion program was primarily driven by engaged staff members, and includes source separation of food scraps out of the waste stream from prep kitchens, bakery and bar as well as bus tubs. The goal is support the roll out their program to 46 locations across the United States where an organics diversion infrastructure is in place to process their food waste to its highest and best use.
